Hailing from sunny San Diego, I am a sports copywriter, aspiring multimedia journalist, and fantasy football connoisseur. While earning my bachelor’s degree in English from Arizona State University’s online campus, I worked for a trading card company in Carlsbad, writing biographies about athletes and media personalities. I went on to graduate in 2023, earning Magna Cum Laude honors.
My expertise, however, stretches far beyond copywriting. Before crafting creative bios, I earned my associate degree in Media Communications with an emphasis in Cross-Media Journalism from Grossmont College. During that time, I was the Editor-in-Chief, Website Designer, and Multimedia Coordinator of the college’s student-run news publication, The Summit.

In March 2025, I began working as a Contributor for Sportskeeda, a global sports and esports media website. As a paid contract journalist for the NHL and PWHL, I write multiple articles daily for the company. The stories range from breaking news in the league to player and coach commentary/quotes, milestones on and off the ice, and a plethora of other topics.

In pursuing my passion for sports journalism,
I had the joy of working as a Sports Copywriter at The Upper Deck, a trading card company located in Carlsbad, Calif. I composed entertaining and informative biographies about athletes and media personalities that were printed on the
backs of the cards.
In January 2020, I was honored to emcee Grossmont College’s Spring Faculty Convocation. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of faculty members and students while welcoming the new semester. In addition to hosting the event, I created a video that was presented at the ceremony. The audience comprised hundreds of faculty members and campus officials.

While obtaining my associate degree at Grossmont College, I became the campus’ resident sports reporter. I wrote articles showcasing the college’s athletic department and created video packages to accompany the stories. I covered a variety of sports such as football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, water polo, and even badminton.
While a student at Grossmont College, I was overjoyed to receive the Division Honor Award in the Arts, Languages, and Communications discipline. The instructors of the Media Communications Department nominated me, and the award was voted on by the college’s faculty and board members. I was so proud to bring home the hardware for the department!

Always ready to report the latest scoop on campus, I was the Editor-in-Chief of Grossmont College’s newspaper, The Summit. To say that I was an overly dedicated and tenacious student would have been a severe understatement. Being editor was a badge of honor that I took very seriously. So much so that after my time as a student contributor to the newspaper had ended, the department hired me to become the Website Designer/Editor for the publication.
