From covering sports at Grossmont College to a plethora of other beats and hot topics on campus, here you can find my print and online articles from the student news publication, The Summit. I was the Editor-in-Chief for two years before becoming the Website Editor. Throughout my tenure, I also designed the print edition and supplied my own photographs and videos.

Pursuing my passion for sports journalism, I created video packages covering Grossmont College games that accompany my articles and can also stand alone. In addition to sports videos, I also created informative productions and PSAs for the Media Communications Department. I captured and edited all footage.

While with The Summit, I also displayed my visual creativity by designing several print and web articles. Using Adobe Creative Suite, I helped bring the stories to life by designing layouts that were both aesthetically pleasing and essential to the story. Working alongside contributors to help capture the essence of their stories by using creative and unique designs was so rewarding.
